Letter to Taoiseach requesting urgent action in light of the illegal war with Iran and global uncertainty inflicted on us all by Trump’s rogue administration.
The violence we're seeing in the Middle East is spiralling out of control.
We need to see an evacuation plan in place so that Irish citizens in the region, as well as Irish peacekeepers in Lebanon, can return home safely.
There is no time to waste.
With Israel continuing its genocide & blockading Gaza & bombing Iran and Lebanon, putting the lives of Irish peacekeepers in danger as well as thousands of citizens in the region, it’s inconceivable that the Ireland-Israel fixture would go ahead.

2 things happened simultaneously in Venezuela: the U.S. removed an authoritarian leader responsible for human rights abuses AND it violated international law by kidnapping a head of State.
Respecting and upholding international law in the face of global chaos has never been more important.
Grok is being used to create sexualised images of women and child abuse material which are posted on X.
So, why is the Department of Education still posting images of children to X?
If Government Departments are going to continue to use X, can they at least stop posting images of children?
Govt's failure to explicitly rule out joining President Trump's sinister Board of Peace is baffling.
Other EU and European countries have had no such difficulty declining.
Our govt needs to show similar backbone.

I spoke to survivors of sexual violence at Leinster House today.
Despite govt promises to reform the Criminal and Civil Law Bill 2026, survivors' counselling notes could still be used against them in court. This horrendous breach of trust could deter women from seeking deserved justice.
