Here's the final 'satellite' piece, which I painted this morning, to go alongside my SNL painting commission.

A chef and his family are poking themselves through a porthole. The chef holds a board loaded up with burgers, and the wife and two daughters are smiling alongside him. The family's sheepdog is very interested in the food.

Now that the recipient has seen it, I can show you this commission I completed recently.

It's a chef and his family, and it'll be mounted on the wall of a nautically themed restaurant in Michigan. The porthole design is actually painted on a tabletop, and it's 3 or 4 feet across.
