Portrait of Dr. Wenzhong Xiao in a gray button-down shirt, hands resting on a railing, standing before a colorful molecular illustration with red‑blue helical structures. The text reads: Science Wednesdays: Significant
In the context of research, calling something “significant” is a statistical description. It’s a term that indicates it’s unlikely that random chance could explain a result.

The more severe I get the more my cycle affects ME/CFS and vice versa. I didn't even know one could have symptoms bcs of ovulation but 14 days after the start of my period my brain fog, cognitive, and sleep issues rise hundred-fold.
PMS now lasts 10 days!
And this is so rarely talked about.

In ME/CFS, issues with cerebral blood flow often present as orthostatic intolerance, when a person feels dizzy or faint after standing upright. In these cases, orthostatic intolerance may be a result of low blood flow to the brain.

🧬Science Wednesdays: Cerebral Blood Flow
Cerebral blood flow is a measure of how much blood reaches the brain in a specific period of time. For example, a typical value for cerebral blood flow is approximately 50 milliliters of blood per 100 grams of brain tissue per minute (mL/100g/min).

Viele tragen Masken, einige sitzen in Rollstühlen.

Where r they? Home, sick; struggling; some r homeless. Some can’t care for themselves.
They r hoping tomorrow’s better.
