Louth County Council is considering cutting the rates on empty properties in 2026. We don’t need to incentivise vacant landlords to utilise their properties, we need to penalise them.

It's sad that we have this kind of coverage as if someone's asylum background has anything to do with their odds of being a violent person, and Sharon's comment under it proves it's not working in satisfying the people this type of reporting is meant to appease.
