Excess of Sapiens (S) regions in Neanderthal (N) chromosome X indicate a preference in ♂N - ♀S in their ancient admixture. Beatiful paper. This would also explain, a lot, the S mtDNA substitution of original N mtDNA in Neanderthal (my personal consideration).
