Human health is not a one size fits all, and we need to do everything we can to be cognizant of this fact. I encourage everyone to try to understand the nuances of health, and to not judge. Life is hard enough as it is, especially when our biology seems to be working against us.

In 2025 medical experts agree that laziness is not an inherit cause for medical related issues and illness. Various complex factors come into play. While misunderstanding is a pert of life, the lack of compassion from the comments is what upsets me.

While I work in the video production world, I also work as a science communicator (I make educational content). I believe that I have an obligation to address scientific misunderstandings. In this case I was trying do address the misconception that people with mobility issues are lazy.

I think we are in a weird age of hero worship. Maybe we’ve always been like this, we are just seeing it more, but it concerns me.

We much create the idea of a superhero, or a white night to fix things instead of being engaged and holding politicians accountable, regardless of party.

Attacks on science funding and science jobs in the United States don’t mean that science will just move elsewhere.

No, they are Christians. The only requirement to be a Christian is to believe you are one. Not conforming, I know, but religion is a messy double edge sword.

I’m convinced Satan is the good guy at this point. Especially when it’s Christians who are doing this.

I love your optimism and enthusiasm, but as someone who works at a public broadcasting agency, even if every viewer did $30 a month, we still wouldn’t be able to keep the lights on. Federal funding is/was crucial, especially for smaller stations.

Today I saw a big ass white pickup truck with a trump sticker and another that said “Warning: Toxic masculinity.”

Out of the truck steps a fat dude with white socks and crocks and speaking in a higher voice than I do.

The insecurity level is staggering.

I’m cynical enough to believe that George Santos will one day start a podcast and become rich.

I'm not loving a country that pays its adults half as much to teach children to spell as it does to kidnap them.
