#LostCambridge hero Eglantyne Jebb of Save the Children. Before setting up the charity with her sister Dorothy Buxton, Eglantyne researched and wrote the first social scientific survey of poverty in Cambridge in the town's history.
Tom Kerridge, "Immigration is constantly used by political parties for masking years and years of underfunding in infrastructure, health, housing, employment, education" #BBCQT
"It is not the fault of immigration, it's the fault of poor spending, poor money management"
Labour's Heidi Alexander, "I think, for a lot of people, in a lot of parts of the country, they will still see the Labour party as the party to stop the toxicity and division of Reform UK"
Labour logic: the party that came third will be the party to stop the party that came second? 🤦♂️
Sir John Curtice says that Keir Starmer's chances of surviving as leader after May 7th have been diminished
Labour MP Rachael Maskell, "This is the final warning for Prime Minister Keir Starmer"
"Labour has lost it's roots"
"Some of the negative social media campaigning from Labour was quite abhorrent'
Just a gif of the EU flag projected onto the London Eye as part of Mayor Sadiq Khan's London's New Year's Day fireworks 😀
The UK is £90 billion a year poorer because of Brexit i.e. tax rises and spending cuts, it's absurd
One day soon the madness will end and the UK will #RejoinEU ☺️

Working with the fantastic Governor of Louisiana, Jeff Landry, we are going to send a great hospital boat to Greenland to take care of the many people who are sick, and not being taken care of there. It's on the way!!! President DJT
Healthcare in Greenland is publicly funded, free at the point of use, and despite geographical challenges considered very good.
Healthcare costs in the USA are extortionate and responsible for 60% of all US bankruptcies.
So maybe Denmark should be sending hospital ships the other way.

Think of how bad things must be for a Supreme Court Justice to feel he has to explain why it's a good idea to have laws enacted by legislators instead of decreed by wannabe dictators
Here's how Scotland's front pages reported on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's arrest 👇
The entire world has seen the photograph - Phil Noble is the Reuters photographer who took it.
Slumped in the back seat of his Range Rover, a visibly shaken man once referred to as the ‘Playboy Prince’ stares ahead of him as the car leaves Aylsham police station in Norfolk, England. The photo of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, taken by Reuters photographer Phil Noble, went viral reut.rs/4tLxvbt
The front pages of the Daily Mail, Sun, Independent, Daily Star, Daily Record, Daily Mirror, Times, Daily Express and Daily Telegraph. All show the photo of the pedo Prince looking like he’s seen the devil himself - hiding in the back seat of his car as he’s driven away from the police station yesterday. A truly beautiful collage of consequence.
I can’t remember the last time a single photo dominated the front page of every major newspaper in the UK.
Phil Noble of Reuters, take a bow.
