There's something so therapeutic about knitting up a garment and watching as it takes shape, I'll have an audiobook playing in the BG or a Youtube vid or podcast and it's nice. Like with any hand-based hobby tho you have to take breaks and stretch.

I took up knitting in 2023 to try and curbstomp doomscrolling on my phone before bed and I am happy to say it's worked! I am currently obsessed with making hats and balaclavas and scarf hoodies but I'm hoping I can work through a sweater this year!

I think returning to what made you get into art is great, I did it because I was a young child of immigrants once, and art was my way to connect with others. Being in a space where kids are allowed to make mistakes and grow reminds me of that.

Started working at a small art studio in my hometown last week while I wait to see what happens to animation

being around kids and seeing their joy in exploring creativity is healing. Its been a year and its refreshing to see so many young artists learn and grow.
