Wasn't it all the Magats who got ugly whenever anyone else wore a mask? Apparently, only people violating the Constitution should wear them.

4. The conflict would be when someone says, "Write a song that sounds like it was written by Elton John." That's when the ethics turn "questionable". Similarly deep fakes.
3. Or me, researching for book. "I can't remember artist." (Describe song.) AI: "That might be..."
2. Musician: "AI, I just created this. Do you think it's too similar to my favorite Prince song?"
1. If we were discussing the outdoors and fishing, I would bow to Morris' expertise. But on AI? Not so much. "Don't read books or look at art" is terrible advice for people and not much better for AI training. Note: Computer programmer and author. Two highly creative fields.
When you want to hide the details, you're pretty much telling everyone you have something to hide.
Iβm so confused by the folks who said that raising the minimum wage would increase the price of every day goods while also being okay with tariffs raising the price of every day goodsβ¦
I reckon they are okay paying higher prices as long as it doesnβt help anyone making a minimum wage.
I didn't know Graham could be even further batshit than he's been in the past.
How bad do you have to be as a white male writer if you need to be coddled like this?
After the election of our lifetime, it is now time to share some lighthearted humour with our southern neighbours π¨π¦β€οΈπΊπΈ
A lot of folks have grand Little House on the Prairie dreams, and all I can tell you is their reading comprehension is garbage.
Those folks were CONSTANTLY on the verge of death! And that's the stuff Wilder and her publishers were willing to put in a bunch of kids' books!
Does anyone find it ironic that it's the Minnesota Timberwolves that eliminated the (formerly Minnesota) Lakers? We can't exactly take credit for them -- they left Minneapolis 2 years before I was born. But they kept the name.
As someone who DOES work in IT and has had that sort of support position in the past, I can tell you that the number 1 reason for a computer not working is a cord isn't plugged in where it needs to be plugged in. Or the surge protector it turned off.
This is how you support the troops. #sarcasm
I didn't need to watch the debacle to know it was end-to-end lies.
Wait. You can do that?
Maybe cuts should come from the DoD budget.
Clearly, the solution is a well-placed endash.
I'm an author. I get my share of "I hated it" reviews. I don't read my own reviews anymore, because while most of them are positive, one negative review can linger. That being said, if the main character is passive in the story, DNF.
You may talk about and promote your book for the rest of your life. Just read the room when you do so.
Today's Writing Tip:
Listen to writing tips, but do whatever works for you.

Welcome to the stylish side!
As an indie author, I thank you.
How do you throw an entire company into jail?
Asking for a friend.
We have unfettered access to the breadth and depth of human knowledge, but it's our own responsibility to navigate between all the BS.
The internet does a great job of consolidating stupidity together, however, where the stupid and ignorant congregate and convince each other how smart they are.
At the same time, please be kind to small, indie authors.
And after that, writing the author and telling them how much you love the book...
Writing is a lonely act. Fan mail rocks.
I fully agree, but at the same time remember something else. Indie authors deserve support, too.
