... an email saying they were going to delete my data if I didn't create a paid account. That's a great practice and one that lots of companies should actively adopt. I don't know for sure and have no proof they really deleted my data (which is fine, my logs had nothing in them) but bravo anyways.

We don't often call out vendors for doing the right thing and that's probably a bad practice. I trialed with logz.io and while it was a fine service the price was out of my budget and I let the trail lapse.
