Excellent point made by Daniel Trilling, author of "Lights in the Distance: Exile and Refuge at the Borders of Europe", in the Guardian today. Makes me sick that none of the main parties in the UK have the guts or imagination to reframe the discourse around immigration.

Oh my god! Bring on the Broccoli?! Must definitely check out that series. The carnivorous eating habits of people in romance novels is one of my pet peeves. I wish there was more vegetarianism in the genre!
