One thing I’m do is go home to Jamaica for a month and dissociate from whatever the hell be going on in the States 🌚😅 when I stay long it takes me DAYS to recalibrate to being back

Some peoples journey requires the traditional way of the church, others do not and that’s a hard concept for many followers to accept.
That’s not a slight but a reminder that the relationship with God is not one size fits all and that has been my biggest gripe with Chr!stianity.
Especially with those who go to The0l0gy school cause yall know the history.
As someone raised Bapt!st but consider myself non denominational and a practicing Hoodoo, I find it mighty funny that the people who covet the B!ble and the Church judge the way I engage in God, yet I’m living in so much peace and harmony.
Also the way religion gets cult like and use to absolve accountability in the community,
Whew chile I know we keep echoing this but it needs to be studied.
When you fought hard to break through some generational curses and choose to be and live differently, you become a big mirror to those that don’t wanna face themselves.
It’s not your job to carry that burden.
Sometimes I have to respectfully put family in place cause at the end of the day, I’m a grown woman and this also my life.
And I’m sorry things don’t always pan out the way we want them in life but I have so much peace and joy in mine.
And I wish peace that on everybody
