Mission Street and Geneva Avenue Infrastructure Improvement Project | Public Works

This week crews are working on Mission Street, from Norton Street to Russia Avenue. This is the final stretch of paving on the entire project and all work is scheduled to be completed this month.

Early this morning, crews power washed the eye-catching Dragon Gate at Grant Avenue and Bush Street that marks the southern entrance to Chinatown. The gate, with three portals, is festooned with green tile and adorned with carvings of lions, fish and dragons.

Our Outreach and Enforcement (OnE) Team also is on hand to inform property owners and businesses about their ongoing responsibility to keep the sidewalk outside their premises clean and safe and to subscribe to adequate refuse service.
