Intriguing discoveries - thanks for sharing Alice! Weapons and ‘warrior burials’ are fascinating aren’t they? Removing all that metal from circulation? And how do we know if the deceased was a warrior or honoured for another status? A battered sword but also a battered skeleton - parry fractures…?
