Maybe I drew these Ares variants as his internal family system (IFS). Because he looked so natural and sophisticated in the last scene, I wondered if a calm brunet and a baby boy who was staring into a firefly still exist inside him (probably all traits are just well integrated).

My late brother Kaname (1973-2002) was working at SQUARE co., LTD. with me. He came up with the idea to use the prefix chrono for the title of a video game known as Chrono Trigger. Later he made a career move to KONAMI and became one of character designers of Tokimeki Memorial 2.

When he died, half of my soul died, too. In 2007, the Transformers movie brought back the fun of watching films. In 2013, Steel Ball Run brought back the joy of reading manga. Now Tron: Ares is unlocking my childhood memories with him I've been sealing away. I'm grateful.
