2 stroke day. Atomiser trials.
First run out of the season, 1966 VW Beetle.
Ralph, English Springer Spaniel, absolutely busting to get back in the sea at Roan Head.
Sir John Barrow monument, Ulverston. More Scumbrian greatness.
Early morning run out to Barrow Dock Museum on the Lambretta. #scootering
Lake District fells looking fine from our 1970's housing estate in deepest S. Cumbria this morning.
Quick run out to Ulverston and back home via the coast road. #Lambretta #scootering
An old couple I grabbed a pic of a few years back. They just stood there, holding hands for some time, gazing across the estuary at Arnside. Wonder if they were both thinking about the same thing?
Certainly a Lambretta sort of day. A good spot to sit and watch over Walney Channel.
This time last year. Time to wheel it out again. #lambretta
Cracking day in S Cumbria today. Here's Piel Island at sunset. Taken from the Barrow to Ulverston coast road.
Morecambe prom from the Midland Hotel this evening. I've been wanting to stay here since the refurbishment in the 2000's. Not disappointed. Great view of South Cumbria too.
The view from the bathroom window today. Black Combe on the outskirts of the Lake District looking splendid and free from the white stuff.
On this day, 2018. Gorgeous day around Tilberthwaite in the Lake District. Many of my childhood holidays were spent here in the 70's, sometimes for weeks at a time. Just a big tent in a field with loads of (usually) drunk adults. Special place.
Hopefully, this one will get a run out over Christmas. 1966 VW Beetle.
One from this day in 2021. Number 214. Barrow lad on top of Barrow. Not the usual beer o'clock, but it was a special occasion.
South Cumbria glory. Walney Channel and the fabulous slag banks of Barrow-in-Furness. Black Combe with it's biggest hat on.
Walney channel late this afternoon.
A great South Cumbria view - Black Combe from Lowsy Point. Ralph the Springer Spaniel making a guest appearance.
Keswick and Derwent Water, Lake District.
Today's view from the Common. The Northern part of Morecambe Bay, showing the Leven Estuary and Chapel Island.
The most lovable Lake District resident, the Herdwick.
Lake District looking grand from the common this morning.
Here's Ralph, playing in the limestone on Birkrigg Common. English Springer Spaniel. Bit stupid.
Bit chilly for this at the mo. 1967 Lambretta Special. Hoping to get to a few more rallies next year.
