Neurodivergent folks refer to Brain Weasels, (or gremlins, or monkeys, or other such creatures) for the invasive thoughts that seem to attack from within. I've decided to use the same terminology for fibromyalgia. I will henceforth refer to the mysterious whims of fibro as Fibro-Weasels.
Everyone who has this condition experiences it differently, and our symptoms can change and go through cycles over time. Its super frustrating, but not surprising that doctors don't have it figured out, yet.
This is why fibromyalgia is so hard to sort out. Its not so much a disease, as a collection of sensitivities and comorbidities. A fibro sufferer can have anywhere from a couple of these, to all of them.
I don't live alone, but my husband is just as goofy as I am about our menagerie, so it all works out.

I do so much swearing and hollering from the safety of my own car. It keeps me from slamming into idiots and not being able to drive any more.
It drives me crazy when door-to-door people don't have any literature to leave with me. Like, do they really expect me to make a decision about getting my roof, or my windows, or whatever taken care of, by them, while they're standing on my porch? Get away with that nonsense!
