Setting up Gmail on new devices makes me feel physically ill. Heaven forbid I am starting over and don’t have other devices to verify on. Seriously feel like I’ll throw up after all that. No one email me ever again, let’s switch to carrier pigeon and postcards.
I think 15 years ago was the one time I was able to attend Bloom. It was so beautiful.

My 6th grade science fair project was testing the water in a section of Rock Creek where we played in our neighborhood. E. Coli and so many nasty things found. Didn’t win the fair, but the families knew it wasn’t safe after that (1985). We were lucky we didn’t swim in it, just explore.

That’s how I feel about walking everywhere. Maybe it can take a smidge longer if I hit the pedestrian crossings at the wrong times, but even then it’s a minute or two difference.
Spent the grand stretch today organising my greenhouse, repotting plants to larger pots, and making sure they are tucked in & cosy in case of a late frost. Cannot wait to put them in the ground in a couple weeks. In the meantime, they’ll feel like they’re in the Canaries in there. 🏝️
