My favorite is when when random 2015 indie game says "bullet hell" but you have an iframe dodge every second and an enormous hitbox that has no way of weaving between them.

The cruel irony of this is this is the exact kind of narrative actual narcissists will feed you. And it may even be true, but they're still gonna bully the shit out of you until you break, tell lies about you behind your back, and then try to write you off ass crazy to hurt you for selfish reasons.

Game's great. Only has Europe and SEA servers though, so you might not get matches quickly if you're in NA past like 7-8PM.

Gremlins Inc. is kinda close to this. All the flavor text is gremlin philosophy... which centers around scamming the shit out of everyone while making other people think you're the good guy. That's reflected in the gameplay, naturally.

Literally the only way to play these games officially now is either through the arcades in Yakuza games or digitally purchasing the collection of all three games using a JPN PSN account.

These games deserve more love and attention aside from being the grandpappy of the Gundam VS games

Even worse when their Youtube channel is there just to shill their 400 dollar course, then 5 years down the road when they give it up and put it on sale for $10, you nab it and their art is atrocious and the course is just as bad except it's on a website that loads like shit.

Thank god someone said it because the more time goes on the more Blender Youtube makes my blood boil. Not to mention all the hacky non-solutions that actively lead people astray. Or 4-hour tutorials that make you think making a fucking donut is more grueling than a retail job.
