I did percussion in college and MAN let me tell you how delighted I was when I realized that I could eat a double cheeseburger 30m before a band concert and be completely fine

me: it is concert week so diet is suspended until further notice.

also me: well I hate singing on a full stomach so I guess I will eat a thing of top ramen at noon and then not eat again until after my dress rehearsal gets out at 10pm
