and mostly opportunistic in the northern areas with little of this level reaching the southern areas. Communication is still the enemies biggest problem, that means coordination and effectiveness are greatly reduced.
The Ukrainian advance is significant because it shows it can be done!

be interdicted further back and sooner- that’s my opinion. I still think too many get forward too easily, which slows Ukraine down. The number of drones the Russians use in the frontlines is substantial - they’re losing some 2,000 a day recently to tactical interception.
However this is localised

one group of Russians laid
out a sheet so the Ukrainian drones could read their surrender message. The real threat to the Ukrainians is the Russian logistics chain, that it’s capable of losing many vehicles but still manages to deliver men (supplies seem to be beyond it) quite quickly.

This is incredibly significant and the condition of Russian troops they are fighting is very low, their resistance increasingly minimal.
Many are surrendering, some
saying they haven’t had proper food in over three weeks and they’re mentally and physically exhausted. Further north

UKRAINE HAS DRIVEN 12km INTO RUSSIAN LINES AMD REGAINED 400KM IN THE SOUTH EAST

The ISW has finally confirmed its assessment that Ukraine - which has seemingly stopped its advance for now, presumably to consolidate its gains, retook 400kmsq and penetrated 12km
into Russian held territory on the

AMERICANS OPPOSE THE WAR IN IRAN

The latest polling makes it quite clear that only republicans favour the war in any numbers with democrats and independents overwhelmingly opposed. When it comes to boots on the ground all three groups oppose such a move.

IRAN ALLEGEDLY LAUNCHING MINES INTO HORMUZ STRAITS

Information that Iran has been letting mines drift into the straits since this morning has come to light. This will completely shut the straits down - potentially for weeks. There’s little mine clearing equipment - which requires specialist

You could argue it. But it’s an opinion not an argument.
Johnson is a populist. Blair was more substantial but destroyed his own legacy and reputation. Starmer is not a populist.
Populism requires good communications skills and he doesn’t have any.

factory is used to produce electronic components for missiles and drones of almost every type. It’s a major piece of strategic industry, considered critical by Russia
As I have said the StormShadow build rate is slow but when they have them Ukraine make them count. This was excellent!

STORMSHADOW DAY!

The electronics factory in Bryansk was struck several times with British built StormShadow cruise missiles today - something around -0 hit the plant and it’s very badly damaged. The sounds on the video of the missiles flying over head and smashing into the factory is amazing. The

I agree. He’s not a financial grifter at the moment. Give it time. Populists rarely succeed in this country though it’s getting easier for them. What bothers me is the normalisation of scandal. Improper behaviour in government used to be a political death sentence. Now it means almost nothing. That

I don’t disagree that he says the right things that appeals to a left leaning mind. I really do hear what he says and I like much of what he says, but he’s unrealistically vague. He is a populist like Farage, just the polar opposite end of the spectrum. People like both of them are opportunistic

I tend to agree. Without outside help it’s doomed and that’s not going to happen.

I think the missile was developed in a pre war period initially and slowly, and it just wasn’t cost effective. Overall new knowledge, experience, simplicity of production were the winners and these were abandoned.

He’s a lightweight populist who will say whatever it takes to move ahead.
He’s no better than any other politician and too much like a reversed polarity Farage to be viable.

The flag makers must be sponsors.
Nationalist flag waving isn’t about pride it’s used to reinforce stereotypes and to intimidate when parties like this do it. It’s just not British to overdo things like this - unless it’s necessary.
And it just isn’t. It’s not about being patriotic or unpatriotic.

RUSSIA WILL BE WORRYING ABOUT UKRAINE’S NEW MISSILES.

The increase in power of both the FP-1 and 2 drones was revealed yesterday. Mildly increased ranges but larger warheads - the FP-1 going from 100kg to 108kg, but the FP-2 going up to 150kg. The biggest news is the update on the FP-7 Ballistic

Yet there remains the issue of what happens next. There still seems to be no plan. Either the US stops or…? Ideally the Iranian people will rise up and stop the government from taking
