Mount Rainier with a fresh coat of winter. For as much as I visit and photograph Mount Rainier it amazes me how few of my portfolio images actually feature the mountain. It's pure magic after a recent snow. Can't wait to head back up there for some winter photography soon enough.

Winter in Yosemite ❄️

A snowy scene in the morning in mid-winter in Iceland - blue hour. A church sits on top of a snowy hill, and there are lights reflecting in the fjor below. The ground is covered with snow, and the overall view is blue.

10am view, Hólmavík in the Westfjords of #Iceland. Not much light up in those parts at that time of year. Taken on this day 4 years ago, after I'd escaped from the miserable cabin after the blizzard cleared.

Even though it already snowed in Yosemite it’s already all melted even on half dome. Not a great sign of this generally warm winter for the west so far. #wx #pnw
