A greyish looking bird, in profile, with strongly patterned upper, and light grey underbelly. It’s sitting on gently curved branch in a dead tree and there is a section at the broken end of the branch that is covered in a green lichen.

A sold adoption

I'm still disappointed in myself for missing the deadline by mere seconds (I could have submitted eight minutes before but... I just kept doing stuff), but in the end I think I'm happy that I did this anyway. I've proven to myself that I'm capable, that I can do this, actually. I just have to do it.

Given my limited time, I cut a lot of corners/told myself off when things were "good enough," which isn't easy when the art is meant to be seen by thousands of people (if selected). I may come back to this in the future to polish up properly, because even for me... the vibrance is quite something.
