Oh there's never more than 4 or 5kg 7 or 8 times a year. I don't know anyone with cows so I mostly chuck it on the compost. It's a hot bin so not worried about flies. Got any better ideas?

Long day yesterday, but a good day. My attempt at an homage to @kernelbrewery.bsky.social Export India Porter hopped with Columbus and Centennial hops entered as an American Porter in yesterday's UK National Homebrew comp in Bristol, despite being slightly out of style did pretty well ☺️

Thanks to the Jewellers Arms in Brum for hosting our mtg yesterday. Some excellent members ' beers...incl amongst others a superb Old Ale & Weizenbock, a lovely tart lemony Gose & a Belgian Dark Strong.

💥Happy with that. Second place in the Euro Sour Ales category in Norwich Amateur Brewers Steinmasters homebrew comp today. Straight Goses are rarely seen in UK.
