2. Some of these procedures - e.g. breast augmentation, cosmetic surgeries - are permissible for cis people. So it IS a discrimination against a specific cohort of individuals and not about procedure.
3. Encouragement is not equal to coercion.
Remarkable. Two thoughts, though.
1. It's important to see which causes the unions take issues with and which are not on the table.
2. From experience, there may be a danger that unions, in looking for new political partners, go to the extreme right. Don't!
