With the encouragement of my partner, who is the sole reason im even keeping my head up through all that I've been going through, i opened a kofi goal months back to add some relief to the financial stress. I want to emphasize- Nobody is obligated to help me, but if you do, I'll be beyond grateful

I've been working my ass off at my day job for the last couple years, but im literally being paid a handful of cents above minimum wage, I can't live off of that independently, so im currently job hunting for a position with better wages but its yet to prove fruitful (especially in winter smh)

Things at my family's house have become strained and difficult for years, but especially so in recent years due to the burst of political/social/economical news, and i can't agree with many of the things they believe in, which has led to difficulties seeing eye to eye on a lot of topics

There's already plenty put in the description of the goal, but to sum it up here- I need help to gather some extra money so I can fix my car and not have to worry about whether I can afford rent at the end of the month
