Can't quite point out how but with the simplistic dialogue and the palette, add-on with the 90s GBA rendition of soundtrack, Blessed Heart does give me like, "retro Sega Genesis Phantasy Star vibes with a more high fantasy aesthetic"
Every chapter uses a new music from an older/retro game from the 00s to the 90s, so on top with the warm colour palette and very cohesive "this lord and their army all wear blue, other lord wear green etc" colours, there's a kind of nostalgic vibe going on
It's pretty good! The dialog is kinda awkward but the sprites are such a feast for the eyes (also sadly rare to find a hack with a huge cast with skin tone darker than a sheet of paper as well, so that's bonus points)
So I've been playing FE ROM Hacks lately (amazing amount of FE ROM Hacks out there as compared to 2013 era) and there's a pretty simple ROM Hack called "Blessed Heart"
