Yesterday, a federal court allowed the Trump administration's "defund" of Planned Parenthood to go into effect immediately. That means right now, patients are not able to use Medicaid to pay for care at Planned Parenthood health centers.

I was thinking how they would "opt out" or "provide notice" to parents -- like here's the calendar...WARNING, week 1 - Bobby's mom is a single working parent who lives with her boyfriend; week 2 - Michaela has two dads; week 3 - Suzie has a mom and dad and a transgender sister...etc. etc.

Our son's Pre-K has the kids bring pictures of their families to help comfort them/transition to the classroom, and they share them with one another. The lawyer before SCOTUS today would say our son's classmates should be able to opt out of his time to share about our family if we shared this pic 💔

As we prepare ourselves for Justice Sam "The Only True Victim" Alito asking ridiculous questions in oral argument today, always remember he wrote this in dissent in Obergefell -- about how silenced he'll feel now that gay people can marry and how fearful he'll be for his safety.
