Question for anyone who knows more about cooking than me (so basically everyone)...

The cooking instructions for these potatoes say to coat them in oil. I have no oil. But, I DO have butter or margarine. Can I use that instead?

Ceiling fan install didn't happen. Instead, the electrician and the landlord came up, looked at the light that the fan will be replacing, and said "yeah that's gonna need a box" before immediately leaving. :p

Electrician is coming to possibly install a ceiling fan today.

I say "possibly" because there's a very real chance the light it would be replacing is just screwed directly to the ceiling and there isn't an actual box up there to hang it from. If that's the case, he'd have to order a box. :p

I still can't get over this video from a couple years ago of a tanker semi truck doing a Leroy Jenkins at full speed directly into a FUCKING TORNADO.

Both computer repair jobs I had lined up for this weekend were cancelled by the customers. I HAD to get gas last night, and in a few days I must buy groceries. I'm down to $35 to last me two weeks, and at least one bill (automatic $85 credit card payment) coming during that time...

I thought it was good, but too expensive and messy as fuck.

A customer apparently paid with cash that had been exposed to marijuana smoke. I wasn't running the register at the time, but I am now.

I didn't smell it until after I had already physically handled the money to give some change.

Now my hands smell like weed. x_x

Despite my tight funds right now, I had to get gas today. It's already gone up 70 cents in the past week, which is already almost $10 more per tank, and is likely gonna keep going up. I was down under 1/8th of a tank, so the sooner I filled up, the better.

One of the local radio stations has rebranded itself to "Radio Pig" and is now playing 70s & 80s classic hits.
