We just want to see trans kids turn into adults.

Sounds like you're saying if we put someone who's *not* a transphobe on the ballot, then all the transphobes will have to "settle" for that candidate even though they'd prefer a transphobe.

And if they choose not to, then they are not a Median Voter. They're a conservative who is embarrassed
You talk to a median voter about trans issues by pointing out the cruelty. Saying things like "an entire state invalidated their driver's licenses overnight and made it illegal for them to use them until they get a replacement" or "they cannot use a public toilet safely in over half the nation"
"You talk about trans issues by saying they are a distraction and also pointing out there are so few of us that it isn't worthwhile dedicating time to persecuting us" is not the fuckin woke win that I see people portraying it as and it sucks

British female track and field athletes are being asked to cover the cost of their own Β£185 sex tests if they want to compete internationally. Because curbing trans people's rights to participate in anything subjects everyone to intrusive scrutiny and here, hefty expense. This is not a 'them' issue.
