The only other thing I can think of is how disappointing it might be for some people who don’t have proper internet to not be able to get this more digital game on a physical cartridge, but that’s at most just a small disappointment than like some big anti consumer practice people make it out to be
I don’t really see Game Key Cards as anything else than just kind of a weird trade-off. To my understanding, the cartridge is empty upon purchase but after a single internet download, the game is forever yours and is no different to a physical copy of a game. You can give it away, sell it, etc.
Even sometimes I see people talk like lives were lost for naught in some war saying some “we’re finished…ALL of physical media is no more thanks to these slop eaters who didn’t heed our warning….” when a game with a Game Key Card release is brought up in a discussion, like be so fr.
Instead, I keep seeing ppl exaggerate the hell out of them and make crazy claims like how the game only works with Wi-Fi, or how “15 years later when eShop shuts down, Nintendo will take the game away from you” and make it sound like theyre tricking you into buying this when
it’s right on the box
