I can't believe it's been 2 weeks... We're setting up a bookshelf for her to sit on when we pick up the ashes. It's gonna be covered in purple- I'm making a purple butterfly latch hook for her right now actually 💜 it's slow going, but it's nice doing something fun when thinking about her

imo society diminishing and disrespecting many forms of traditional crafts and skills such as sewing, ceramics, knitting, and even creating folk art as “old lady activities” has hurt us in immeasurable ways & is One of many reasons we’re much more wasteful and Lack basic life skills

I have been obsessed with Darwin IV since I saw the film adaptation at the ripe old age of 8 years. It's how I discovered what speculative biology was and it's since become one of my favorite topics. If you like that kinda stuff I really recommend Wayne Barlowe's works !!

I was kinda having a sad day, but my reprint hardback of Wayne Barlowe's Expedition just showed up a day early and now I am filled with absolute indescribable joy oh my god.
