Ich habe 2 Kinder in der Grundschule und sehe, was "Qualität" ist. Beispiel Mathe: Am Stoff hat sich seit Jahrzehnten nichts geändert - man sollte meinen, die Pädagogik hat sich entsprechend verbessert. Dazu sage ich nur "Kompass Test".
Lehrer schwimmen zu gerne in ihrer pisswarmen Brühe.

Ich mag den Text, aber mein Problem damit: Definiere "Dummheit". Ich hab es auch schon erlebt: Ich hielt jemanden für "dumm", dann wurde ich überrascht. Das war aber situationsbezogen. Derjenige hatte Wissen, mit dem ich nicht gerechnet hatte.
Dabei hab ich ne Menge gelernt...
Wow! Meine Kinder sind noch nicht im Demo-Alter. Aber ich hoffe, wenn sie alt genug sind und entsprechendes vorhaben, dass ich dann auch so reagiere wie Sie ;)

Diese und vorige Woche habe ich in den ersten Stunden meiner Grundvorlesungen (1. & 2. Semester) wieder längere Exkurse zum Klima eingefügt. Beeindruckt hat mich ein Student, der danach kam und sagte: „Wir alle wissen, dass wir am A* sind; aber Sie sind der einzige, bei dem man es auch spürt.“

The reason why protest is essential to political change is that only when people *see* the scale of discontent do they realise they are not alone, and that the tide can turn.
When you think of what the US state has at its disposal, totalitarianism does not look impossible:
- Facial recognition technology
- Armed drones, that can take out marked people
- A propaganda system already enmeshed in our lives (social media)
- Militias ready to become death squads
