I’m trying to understand why people distinguish between vulnerable road users and those in vehicles. Your comment implies a dangerous driver who hurts another driver or vehicle passenger should have a lesser consequence than if it have been a ‘vulnerable’ road user. @pathost.bsky.social

I’ve always been aware of how problematic car-centric culture and infrastructure are. But I never thought I would have to sacrifice my child to it.
I’m disappointed that we didn’t pass our amendment to redirect money from sweeps to upstream solutions like rental assistance, food assistance and immigrant and refugee support. But, I’m proud of the work that went into it and the absolute resolve in my colleague @councilormorillo.bsky.social
