Thanks for the reminder that I need to get myself organised and book tickets!
More accurate throwing (if that's the right term) though.
Look, the BBC's Charter Renewal consultation closes on Tuesday. It's got some bastard tricky questions but you don't have to answer them all, and if you're not a stupid right-wing cunt there's some very handy advice from the British Broadcasting Challenge.

Passionate about connecting historic books and archives with communities, readers and researchers?...
Iβm looking for speakers for a London event on the science of Star Trek. Iβd really appreciate suggestions from underrepresented minorities in STEM, especially PoC/global majority.

Yet more problems in the UK caused by windmills
Part of an image illustrating examples of mill symbols on old maps. Most of the symbols look like windmills, with a cross for the sails attached to a building. They also mostly have the word "mill" or "windmill" written nearby. Original image can be found on the National Library for Scotland webpage https://maps.nls.uk/projects/mills-of-britain/project/mills/
Windmills all over the place
For maximum impact, post a paper letter to your MP. Printed & signed in pen is fine. 1 page, 3 short, polite, not copy-paste, points in an envelope to be opened by hand. 90 seconds a letter? 100 letters = 2.5 hours staff time not spent on usual tasks. 1000 letters? Heaped mailbags soon get noticed.
Or charge them a percentage of their income
It's the cross that should be hot, not the bun.
