Protests are about expression, but what are you expressing? In this case, we're expressing our support for the rule of law. We're expressing our support for justice. This protest is not about your self expression as an anthropomorphic wolf.

Miscitation is a serious academic faux pas. I am deeply disappointed in you. You cut out "through your fursona," which clearly changes the messaging, and you know it.

Most of society will see this as childish and unserious. Some people may even see this as a mockery. The loss of American democracy and freedoms is a serious matter. Treat it as a serious matter; this isn't a fursuit parade.

Once again, I'm not saying you *can't* wear a fursuit to a protest. It is your right to do whatever you want. But just because you have the right to do something doesn't mean you should go ahead and do it.

I'm not saying you *can't* fursuit. You have the freedom to do whatever you want, but that doesn't mean you should.

This protest is about government over-reach and authoritarianism. This protest isn't about expressing yourself through your fursona.

Given the gravity of the current situation, now is not the time to express and share your fursona. We should all be focused on seeking justice and holding ICE accountable; we should all be focused on defending our constitutional rights.

Sure, but look at the context? We just witnessed ICE violate people's 1st, 2nd, and 4th amendment rights. We just witnessed a murder by our own government. We're in a constitutional crisis and on the precipice of losing our freedoms and democracy. This is incredibly disrespectful and inappropriate.
