Today’s Daily Cartoon, by Ivan Ehlers. #NewYorkerCartoons
Equality sounds radical in a world addicted to hierarchy.
Focus group much? If I were the chief law enforcement officer for Arizona I'd be laser-focused on armed Federal thugs brutalizing and terrorizing the people I'm responsible to protect.
How many thousands are in hiding right now, afraid to step outside?
The cost of living is someone else's problem.
"Hey Jason, why aren't you enthusiastic about the Democratic Party?"
Exhibit 37:
Some days you're just like "Fuck this, burn it all to the ground and start over."
I hope this does no good and she never sleeps another wink in her miserable life.
Bunny rabbit with two-way radio: "WTF, Over."
Or... take your pick of versions of this tune. Here's my pick:

11: A song with a subtle meaning
I mean, I am personally demanding much, MUCH more than this but this kid is alright.
I recently rewatched this for the first time since it came out. What a wonderful movie.
I don't know how useful this will be in the long run, but I kicked a few bucks to this organization a few days ago:

10: A song that feel like a memory replaying
Exhibit 1:
I'm one of those loonies who think the rich don't pay even a fraction of what they should, and that poor and middle class people don't need any more burdens beyond what the rich have already burdened them with. And to hell with "liberals" who think the cleaning lady at my office doesn't contribute.
What is your income, and how much do you need to live on?
$75,000 for married couples or $37,500 for individuals might have sounded like a lot 30 years ago, but it's barely enough to cover basic bills in most urban or suburban areas. "You're not poor enough yet" is a weird selling point.
The flat tax proposals I've seen include generous (-ish) deductions that could essentially make it a progressive tax at lower income levels - just as most "fair tax" proposals exclude food and other necessities and second-hand purchases. They usually include "prebates" as well (UBI, essentially).
I discovered not long ago that I'm on several "Mean to Democrats" blocklists. Funny, since I quite likely spend more time, money and effort supporting individual Democrats than most people do.
I'll agree with him that there is a terrorist regime that needs to be disposed of immediately. I think he got the wrong country though.

9: A song about insecurity
An image featuring a large purple 3D pie chart that is 100% filled. The heading asks, "Is America great yet?" with the legend indicating the purple section represents "No." Below the chart, there are three footnotes in smaller text: *it’s significantly worse **Chart does not capture the full “what the f–k” ***Scientists confirm it’s somehow worse than 100% no
