Os habéis topado alguna vez con el término “otermano” como grafía de “atamán” (cosaco)? No le encuentro ningún otro sentido en esta línea, pero quizá ojos más listos que los míos sí. También leo “Can” y pienso en “Khan”, en relación con el levantamiento de Pugachёv (1773–75).

It took many years—& many white smokes—including the one that elected #LeoXIII. 🇮🇹 media will hopefully soon acknowledge the new Pope’s complex roots, rather than pinning them to this or that 🇮🇹 region.

King Henry of #Haiti might say "told u so". He advocated for #Afrodescendants to access the priesthood. While the Holy See ignored his pleas, he had clergy: of mixed descent from #LatAm, & European critical of the Church's silence on #slavery.
