My cat, Pumpkin

home now and the vet thinks it’s an inflammatory reaction to his booster vaccines which is a relief. We’ll still keep an eye on it and take him back to the vet if there’s any change but it should go away on its own 🤞🏻 He’s been such a good boy so he’s had lots of treats!

we’re taking little Pumpkin to the vet today because I found a lump on his back last night so please keep your fingers crossed for us that it’s nothing to worry about 🧡 He’s not showing any worrying symptoms apart from that but always better safe than sorry.

Before anyone says anything re indoor v outdoor cats, my parents used to let the cats out when I lived with them until 2 of them were run over, incl. Pumpkin’s brother, Spooky. They live with me now & I will never let them free roam bc of that. They have a safe catio space that we built for them 🩷

So tonight mischievous little Boo found a way to dislodge the lock on the bedroom window & get outside, only he then had a big panic because he’s an indoor cat & sat by the patio doors waiting to come in 🥺

Pumpkin wins the Good Boy award for alerting the human to it by chirping and meowing at her 💛
