Electronics that require the use of a remote control to access controls that should be able to be accessed by buttons on the unit itself.
Theres no reason that I should be required to have a remote control to access the basic settings of a device like screen resolution.
I often think about people that were alone and moments before death who may have made a last video on a phone or a camera and how some day someone might find that buried in the dirt or on a beach somewhere and see recover those files and see and hear someones last moments. Its so sad.
I was reminded of this in my suggested videos on youtube and to this day I am captivated by the absolute desolation as you can watch thousands of people and towns washed away in the blink of an eye. Its just devastating imagining being one of those people, it crushes my heart thinking about it.
To this day i think the most incredible thing Ive ever seen was the tsunami of Japan 3-11-2011. I am absolutely captivated by the immense nature of, well nature, and its destructive power. Watching many hours of footage that people captured just boggles my mind. So many lost in that tragedy.
You have to understand that stopping them isnt going to be enough, because they will find other ways to do what they are currently doing. You have to remove them permanently, you have to stop these actions permanently, you have to change the way the systems works so they can no longer be in control.
This fucking idiot is why we cant have a society that helps those in need, because hes white, hes rich and he runs in circles of the powerful who see those under them as nothing more than cattle that should be ground up into paste to grease the wheels of their machines. Fuck this kid. Fuck him!
It will never be enough to sate the egos of the maniacs trump and netanyahu. They wont be satisfied until they are the only ones left so they no longer have anyone contesting their will.
Anyhow, this is all to show when I say #DIY I mean it. You have the capacity to do these things if you educate yourself and take a change. It can be simple and cheap and end up saving you tons of money instead of having to buy something new needlessly.

Honestly, the hardest part is done because I was able to get the case open and remove the battery and prep it for all the other stuff I need to do. So yeah waiting is the hardest part as they say but taking this apart was the hardest part and thats done so Im chill, just gotta wait a little bit.
I was hoping to have this all put together this weekend, but like all projects you enter into they seldom go as smoothly as you imagine they will no matter how well you plan. My timeframe for completion is now about 2 weeks longer as the faceplate is coming from China and might not be here for a bit
Im not super happy bout this but Im gonna send the seller a message and hint at how a partial refund would be a good idea seeing as how they didnt mention the defect in the auction. Ordered a new faceplate in a nice metalic satin blue with a white wheel. I didnt wanna spend more $ but I like it.
Got my battery replacement, hdd flashcard replacement will be here tomorrow but the center wheel needs to be replaced because I dont feel like pulling it apart and trying to fix it. So I ordered a new face/wheel and backplate which I hadnt planned on doing but thought I might need/want to.
As things often go, when you order items from ebay they sometimes arrive w/"issues" that the seller conveniently forgot to mention. Like a deadspot in the control wheel on this ipod which is otherwise in good working order and you have to order more things to make this project work.

Im trying to be more intentional in how I do things and really engage and value things more. Part of doing this is buying a cd/record and not just dumping the files into my phone, listening whenever they pop up on shuffle, but sitting down, hitting play and listening start to end.
Ive listened to 4 new records tonight start to finish, no skipping tracks, no shuffle, no random play, just put in the disc and hit play and let er ride.
3 have been great or really good while the one I was looking forward to the most ended up being not very good.
