lyrics by my 3-year-old daughter YouTube video by Stephen Spencer

If you've had enough of macho Trumpism and performance politics for one day, here is an infusion of innocent goodness to restore you, in the form of Stephen Spencer. He writes songs to the words of his three year-old daughter. Ahhh, that's better. www.youtube.com/shorts/zznWK...

Here he is castigating his son, who clearly has better judgement than the father, the absolute plank. www.youtube.com/shorts/kL6Bk...

Lee Anderson is a blithering idiot, and a nasty bigoted one at that. When you castigate your own son on social media for standing up for principles that are different from yours (becoming vegetarian) you thoroughly deserve the loneliness of the grotty bedsit that awaits you at the end of your life.

She wants to use the flags to 'bring the community together', specifically the WHITE community, against the non-white community. Disgusting woman.

It's a performance of fat, sweaty men and vacuous, bleach-blonde girls who imagine they are in a Marvel film. Unfortunately their idiot audience believe them.

I would advise ANYONE who is in an abusive relationship to leave it.

I guess you would too.

So dear Mr Starmer - leave Trump to huff and puff on his own. You don't need him and nor do we. Not really, despite what genocidal maniacs say.

The first lesson of war is β€˜know your enemy’ – and Britain’s enemy now is Donald Trump | Simon Tisdall As the Iran disaster escalates, the US president should be seen as an enemy whose actions threaten the lawful, democratic way of life everywhere, says Guardian foreign affairs commentator Simon Tisdal...

The British politicians who are criticising Starmer for not kowtowing to Trump and his every deranged whim are not the patriots they claim to be. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Nobody in the UK except the most extreme right wants Elon Musk or other oligarchs to buy our elections.

08.03.2026 12:47 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 1 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

This is tremendously destructive to the values of an open, democratic country. The UK urgently needs stronger safeguards against political donations to (1) cap the size of donations as a whole, (2) cap the donations from any one individual, (3) ban foreign donations completely.

08.03.2026 12:47 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

This results in representatives having more loyalty to their donors than to their constituents. Because these donors are usually funded by wealthy corporations, corporate America has more electoral power than the electorate of individuals.

In the UK, can we please preserve the ways the UK electoral system is better than its US counterpart? One important distinction is that the American system is dominated by the need for members of congress to raise funds for their own re-election.

Polanski has respect for scientists and understands that we need to protect the living world. Farage is a racist fascist; Polanski is a social democrat. Apart from that, I agree, they are exactly the same.

07.03.2026 18:11 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Farage's mentor is Donald Trump, the convicted felon and sex offender; Polanski's heroes are environmental and civil rights activists. Farage, like Trump, doesn't believe in science and is willing to let the world burn so long as the companies he invests in make a lot of money;

07.03.2026 18:11 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Farage supports millionaires; Polanski supports people on lower earnings. Farage is in it for the money; Polanski is trying to make a difference. Farage doesn't turn up for work, preferring to put his hours into his more lucrative side jobs; Polanski has an excellent record on the London Assembly.

Reverend Jesse Jackson called on each of us to be heralds of change, to be messengers of hope; to step forward and say β€œSend me” wherever we have a chance to make an impact.

How fortunate we were that Jesse Jackson answered that call. What a great debt we owe to him.

If the US is the country of fantasy and denial, the film produced by the White House is the epitome of that fantasy world. A world in which Americans can destroy whatever they like in the world and suffer no consequences, just because they are American.

Contrary to what Musk claimed on Joe Rogan, empathy is essential to be a good leader. Trump has no empathy and only cares about himself and his stash of money.
