@dark1x.bsky.social Hey John, just wanted to let you know the RT being disabled in Raccoon City also happens on PC. For me from the time you let out Emily to when you get to RPD neither RT/PT works. This was on both the launch version and the patch. I’m on a 5080 so I think this is a bug.

I was using the frame time graph built into steam overlay for it. I think it’s a broken audio driver. I can’t get into my sound settings after updating a Realtek driver. Reset windows and deleted everything and still can’t get into sound fml. Going to have to do a clean install off USB. Love Windows

Yeah it’s a system issue of some kind. I’ll figure it out. As for the cap though I thought it was best to globally cap to 116 for 120hz regardless of if reflex is being used or not. Should I be disabling the cap in games with reflex? What about Nvidia control panel vsync?
The stutters aren’t like those in the video. PS5 has those and I’m used to them. These are constant (every few seconds) bigger and happen even if capped in game. But yes I usually am using Nvidia app to cap to 116 with VRR and control panel vsync.
@dachsjaeger.bsky.social hey Alex, I recently got a new PC with a 5080/265f and I’m struggling with micro stutters in lots of games (but not all). I just watched your arc raiders video where your game didn’t stutter at all, but I’m getting 25ms stutters frequently. Ripping my hair out trying to fix
