Not religious based but in 7th grade we had an assembly where a dad who had a daughter killed by a drunk driver came and did a presentation about her life. Then we went outside and viewed up close the mangled car she was driving when killed.

My mom died rather suddenly when I was a 18. The way I describe it to others was a moment where a train switched tracks. For a time right I could look over and see my life carrying forward as if she hadn’t passed but as more time went on the tracks diverged further apart that life disappeared.

Since I’ve seen Swig on both SLMW and RHOSLC it’s been on my visit list. Closest one is in Boise but they did open one about a half mile from where I grew up in phoenix so next time I decide to visit my father I can check it out.
