Thanks for a great chat everyone! Here are my recommendations for student teachers:
1-Student teachers overestimate what they can remember (everyone does this). Too much happens in a day to rely on your memory. Take notes on everything. #sschat

Hereβs the first question for our slow chat. This will go through next week.As we head into the new year, many student teachers are beginning their teaching journeys. What advice would you give to a pre-service teacher for their student teaching experience? #sschat

This week, feel free to share your memories or appreciation for Bill using #sschat πΊοΈ in your posts. π

He also maintained a website classroomtools.org where he shared tools and resources long after he retired from the classroom so that current social studies teacher could benefit from his years of experience. π§π»βπ«
Bill posted as @classroomtools for many years, first on Twitter (X) and most recently making the move towards Bluesky. Bill was a frequent contributor to our traditional weekly Monday night chats, and supported our move in recent months to a slow chat format on Bluesky. π¦
