A digital painting of Cyberpunk AU versions of Raiden Ei & Yae Miko from Genshin Impact: In front of a futuristic city at sunset, Ei holds Miko by the chin, their lips nearly touching. Miko looks contented, Ei stares at her with half-lidded, glowing purple eyes and parted lips.

A typhoon hit Alaska -- displacing over 1,000 people, washing away homes and entire communities.

And why isn't this all over the news?

They're Indigenous communities.

Happy Indigenous People Day.

Sugarcane (2024) An investigation into abuse and missing children at an Indian residential school in Canada ignites a reckoning on the nearby Sugarcane Reserve.

In Canadian residential schools they killed newborn Indigenous children and put them into incinerators. Often times the "father" of these children were priests who raped the girls who were at residential schools.

Thread! Last week, Congress passed Trump’s β€œBig, Beautiful Bill,” which cuts taxes for the wealthy, and pays for those tax cuts by cutting funding for everyone else.
What does this mean for Indian country?

Keyah and Isaura’s offense was sharing the fundraiser of an Inuit woman who desperately needs dental work - Her name is Keira and the country of Denmark stole her children due to a racist and outdated law meant to human traffick Native children to white people.

It’s not a coincidence that Trump picked someone who was so racist against Native tribes and their sovereignty that she was banned from reservations β€” to lead ICE. Remember Hitler literally wrote about his admiration of the reservation system and Native genocide…

Hey, my homeland is on fire right now and if you can spare ANYTHING, please click on these links. Even a share helps!

My grandmother’s neighbors have had to evacuate and she most likely will as well. People are losing everything.

as an Indigenous person I just feel like since all those early settlers came with no process and just killed us en masse and stole our land, it’s not very fair to have a process for anyone else

Indigenous people from the americas have more right to be here than white europeans

Catholics should try that thing where when the leader dies the entire organization and its members get buried with him.

Happy Elizabeth Peratrovich Day! αΈ΄aaxΜ±gal.aat (1911–1958), who was Raven of the Tlingit Lukaax.Γ‘di clan, gave a moving speech that is believed to be a large reason the first civil rights bill for Alaska Natives was passed in 1945. Read more about her here:
