I had a really great conversation with @mafreiidyne.bsky.social the other day about how non black people (me hi) in the community will often jump on things like today and get very vocal about issues of anti blackness, but don't show up as hard for black art and creations. I'm echoing a point--

Tons of black members of the community are taking the time and extraordinary patience to kindly explain this to you. You could afford to be a little humble here and willing to learn instead of hiding behind your wording being "imperfect" or worried about your image at this point.
