I say this as someone who would have Resi 4 (either version) in their top 5 all time games. The Leon gameplay is nowhere near as good as the remake.
Slowly working my way through Resi 9. I find the Leon sections a real chore. It’s Resi 6 level gameplay and they’ve managed to make RC incredibly bland.
The Grace levels are absolutely masterful and RC feels like a HUGE drop-off from the Care Centre. Should have centred the whole game on Grace.

The Grace sections are 9/10 and Leon’s are a generous 6/10. They should have had the balls to focus the game fully on Grace.
