Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit (emphasis on the RIP), last night
Nobody told me Nation on Wheels was in the new Fantastic Four! π₯²

Yeaaahhhhhh nah
We currently have Tiki (long haired tortoiseshell girl) and Churro (ginger & white boy) - both names chosen for the Disneyland associations.
I need help! I have just adopted a third cat and need to decide on a name. π
He is all black but has a thin white patch on his chest (see images) πββ¬
Recent artefact discovery
You can tell they are making sure itβs VERY clear thereβs lots of water featured π
I mean, heβs voiced by Bernard Gabay who is Iron Manβs voice in French! If you watch any Marvel movies (or many other RDJ movies) in French thatβs how he sounds π
I know opening-era Walt Disney Studios Park is objectively terrible, but is it so wrong to be nostalgic for it anyway?
Iβm very surprised by some of these responses - TS3 is a masterpiece and 4 was, surprisingly, very good. Both have exceptional critical reviews
Oh man π₯Ήπ₯Ήπ₯Ή bring it back!
An illustration of Duffy the Disney Bear and Universal's Captain Cacao resembling the box art of Sonic Adventure 2, with Duffy taking on Sonic's pose and Captain Cacao taking on Shadow's. They're both drawn and rendered to mimic the same art style as Sonic Adventure 2, with lots of rim lighting and gradients over the solid colors. Behind them is a background recreating the one from the box art, but with an image of Tokyo DisneySea's Mount Prometheus on Duffy's side (as Duffy originated at DisneySea), and an image of Epic Universe's Chronos Tower on Cacao's side (the park where he comes from). The background has a gradient overlaying these images making them monochromatic, with blue on the left for Duffy and red on the right for Cacao.
A coworker referred to Captain Cacao as "Universal's Duffy" and I immediately saw this in my head.

A more optimistic take π
@jerryhouston.blog I do hope youβre right!
Makes you yearn for the glory days of late Eisner
100%
Calling it now, IF (big βifβ) this actually gets built, itβll be the first Disney park to permanently close.
π
Kinda crazy how Disney can announce and entire new theme park and everyone is collectively just π€·ββοΈ
I wonder how Disney thought this would be received? Or is this just our Disney Twitter refugees echo chamber?
Speculation Map V3 based on todayβs BBC News article.
I heavily suspect the βWaterworldβ and βShrekβ elements could have been added to obscure more Lord of the Rings buildings - but theyβre there so Iβm leaving them in for now!
Lots of similarities in the original art to Singapore - so the similarities to Beijing in the UK artwork is probably a similar situation!
This is all good fun, but realistically the final plans will change significantly. Letβs remember how different the original Universal Beijing concept was from the final product:
Revised V.2 speculation map
Another great spot from elsewhere - this appears to be the βPoison Appleβ from Shrek!
Interesting spot Iβve just read elsewhere- this area looks quite similar to the art from the Paddington area of the failed London Resort- see treehouse & balloon ride. Also note the giant jar of Marmalade +street (Windsor Gardens?)
Perhaps the licensor brought these ideas with them when signing on?
Starting to think this area is just a continuation of Jurassic World - the Octagonal-roofed building is giving Jurassic (looking for a specific reference still), and the foliage in similar to the rest of the area - Palm Trees etc. The coaster could be similar to Veloci or Flying Dino in Japan?
100% agree!
Purple front area looks a little like Shiz, back area with coaster could be Kiamo Ko castle.
Pink area - Iβd love to see Monsters, I do think this area isnβt finalised at this stage! Keeping their options open
This ride entrance isnβt exactly like, but does share some similarities with Beijingβs Jurassic World Adventure entrance. Especially that water feature out front! Maybe details have been left out intentionally to keep it vague?
The double drop towers here are giving Jurassic World raptor paddocks
What appears to be an exit gift shop to this ride is very similar to Beijingβs Jurassic Traders!
