This Rembrandt etching catches the moment just after the Flight into Egypt.
While Mary nurses the Child, Joseph reads a Russian novel.
Do you remember CF Andrews, the friend of Gandhi and Tagore? This is a great book of correspondence, and this is an interesting memoir; I found a signed copy.

This book is a great read if you’re interested in 20th century poetry, the Minnesota literary scene, or the influence of Robert Bly on so many things. Author Mark Gustafson is writing Bly’s biography in pieces, and this is the interesting middle part.

Well done.
Approved for silly Purim celebrations everywhere, to be sung to tunes from South Pacific.
You should read my new interview with iconographer Br. Thomas Skowron, OFM Cap.
The words ‘soul’ and ‘slowly’ are meaningfully connected.
For Purim tonight my wife has written new words to 6 of the songs from South Pacific. ‘Some Enchanted Evening’ is especially hilarious.
Fantastic reflection by @tylergrudi.bsky.social OFM. 🫶🏼😭
