This is Aki. He just realized how to unify Einstein's general relativity theory with quantum mechanics to solve the black hole information paradox, but then remembered he's supposed to be a dog. 13/10 (TT: katelyvxxn)

Itβs that time of year when we celebrate the celebrated, reward the rewarded, and cite the cited in a game everyone knows is meaningless and rigged.

A line graph shows the time series of global mean surface temperature anomalies for each April from 1850 through 2025. There is a long-term increasing trend and large year-to-year variability. The mean surface temperature anomaly in April 2025 was 1.22Β°C globally. Anomalies are computed relative to a 1901-2000 climate baseline. All data is from NOAA/NESDIS/NCEI NOAAGlobalTemp v6.0.0 on this graphic.
Last month was the 2nd hottest April on record globally...
It was also separately the *warmest* April for global land areas and the 2nd warmest for global ocean areas.
Data provided by @noaa.gov NOAAGlobalTemp v6.0.0 (www.ncei.noaa.gov/products/lan...).

More ice at the poles? The Earth spins faster
More water near the equator? The Earth spins slower

Gym mirror selfie. A tall, white masculine person with curly dark hair and stubble takes the photo, the phone obscuring most of their face. They are topless, their body facing right. Around their neck hangs chest-length leather necklace with a metal arrowhead pendant.
Ice sheets are so large their gravity raises nearby sea levels, causing a slight bulge as water is drawn to the sheet

About 1 in 100 people are transgender. While some complain about the "surge" of people "suddenly" identifying as trans, statistically there should be so much more of us out there...
For me personally it's an amazing feeling to be able to be this person for someone else. For a long time I did not believe I would make it here.
On the other hand, it says a lot about queer visibility and representation that they have to employ their second degree network to find someone trans.
The kid of a friend of a friend just came out as trans. So friend 2 is asking friend 1 if friend 1 could ask me if the kid and I could have a call because they don't know any trans people yet π₯Ή
